About Florida Turkish Center

Florida Turkish Center (FTCF) is an independent nonprofit cultural organization located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, serving the Turkish American community throughout South Florida.

The organization was established to create and maintain Turk Evi, a community and cultural center where Turkish Americans and friends of Turkish culture can gather for educational, cultural, and social activities. The center provides a welcoming environment where traditions are preserved, cultural heritage is celebrated, and community connections are strengthened.

Turk Evi hosts a wide range of programs and events including cultural celebrations, educational seminars, music and arts activities, language and cultural classes, youth programs, and community meetings. These programs help promote Turkish culture while encouraging engagement and cooperation within the broader South Florida community.

The organization is governed by an 11-member Board of Trustees responsible for overseeing the development, management, and future growth of the center. Their mission is to ensure that the center continues to serve as a vibrant gathering place for the Turkish American community.

The Florida Turkish Center welcomes individuals and families who are interested in participating in cultural programs, educational activities, and community events.

It is important to note that Florida Turkish Center operates independently and is not affiliated with the former Anatolian Cultural Center, which closed several years ago.
